We are the Iron Tribe. A community of like-minded individuals with a love for lifting weights. We are here to support each other as we endeavour to push ourselves to new limits with our own strength training. Ability does not matter in this group - you could be a total beginner who has never touched a barbell before, or a trophy winning athlete. If you have an interest in Strongman, Powerlifting, or weight lifting in general, the

IRON FOUNDATIONS: STRENGTH CLASS
Thursdays 7:30pm to 8:45pm at TT Fitness Hub
The key to success is a strong foundation.
Iron Foundations is a weekly class that offers a full-body and mental workout with a focus on the foundational exercises of Strongman and Powerlifting. A fun and challenging alternative to conventional fitness classes; utilising specialised equipment that you may or may not use in your regular workout regime, covering everything from deadlifting to log press, sandbags to yoke - with the occasional atlas stone thrown in the mix!
Each session focuses on a specific exercise used in competitive strength sports. You will be taught proper technique and form to ensure safe movement and reduced risk of injury, while getting your heart rate going and your muscles pumping.
These classes are designed to accommodate people of all fitness levels - you set your own intensity and pace based on your personal goals to get the most out of your workout. To allow for progression, sessions are organised into 4-week training phases with a focus on a specific combination of exercises and techniques (see below for the latest timetable). This gives you the option of dipping in and out if you wish to focus on specific exercises that take your fancy, or follow the full training programme for an all-round varied workout.
