WHY SHOULD I INVEST IN COACHING WITH IRON WILL?
Coaching and personal training is an investment in yourself, and it is so important to find the coach that is right for you.
There are many reasons why I believe you should invest in me as your coach. I will back you 1000% every step of the way in your training. As your coach, I am your number one fan, but I will always be totally honest and real with you. I always aim to create a fun, energetic and supportive environment for your training, even on those days when your enthusiasm levels may be at a low. All of my methods are tried and tested by myself in my own training so I know that they are effective. I am constantly researching and evolving my methods based on up to date scientific and industry-specific studies. I do not 'copy and paste' programmes between my clients - every person responds to programming differently, so I will always create a unique programme that is individually suited to you. Although stats and calculators are important, I like to focus on the human factor above all else. I have helped total beginners in Strongman and Powerlifting hit their goals in competition and come away with trophies. I have also worked with athletes in other fields - such as triathletes, footballers, badminton, tennis, and rugby players - helping them to improve their fitness and performance, working on strength, agility and power.

WHAT EXACTLY IS 'STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING' AND HOW IS IT BENEFICIAL TO ME?
Strength and conditioning training aims to enhance an individual's all round physical performance through methods including, but not limited to, weight lifting, HIIT training and circuit training. This approach involves building and maintaining strength, alongside improving quality of movement, mobility, endurance, and cardiovascular health. There are so many benefits to strength and conditioning: increased muscle strength is beneficial to everyday life as well as athletic performance. By strengthening muscles, tendons and ligaments, you can enhance joint stability and also reduce the risk of injury in sports. Strength training also has the potential to lower blood pressure by improving heart health. The list goes on!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY 'FUNCTIONAL FITNESS'?
Functional fitness training methods aim to replicate movements used in daily life, such as squatting, reaching and lifting, to enhance overall strength, balance and coordination. By teaching you how to correctly deadlift, it will improve your posture and help you lift heavy objects without injuring your back. With the proper squat technique, you can strengthen your entire lower body - which will certainly help as you get older. Training farmer's walk will make carrying those heavy shopping bags feel like an absolute doddle!
